Each of us essentially is telling, or creating a story called God. Now that is not to say that God is simply a story. I dont think that at all. I do however think for all of us, God is nuanced by the ideas either presented or imposed upon us, or something we devised based on a variety of influneces… whatever it is… we create a story about God, about ourselves… about how the universe works. That story then essentially plays out in our life
Alisdiar MacIntrye has said, “before we can figure out who we are, and what we are to do in this world - We must first answer the question, ‘What story or stories am I a part of?’”
